Hot Chocolate with Cocoa Powder

Ingedients

  • 3 cups milk (900 ml.)
  • 4 tbsp. pure unsweetened cocoa.
  • Sugar.
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder.

Preparation

  1. Boil the milk.
  2. In a container we put the cocoa with the sugar and integrate. We add the cinnamon powder. The amount of sugar is to taste.
  3. When the milk is about to boil, pour a little over the cocoa and mix well.
  4. Now we add the cocoa to the milk that remains on the heat and stir until it comes to a boil. We turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
Lucuma Smoothie

Ingedients

  • 2 cups of almond milk.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (unflavored).
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes.
  • 2 tablespoons of honey.
  • 4 tablespoons HerbaZest Lucuma Powder.

Preparation

  • Put ice cubes in a blender.
  • Add Greek yogurt, lucuma powder, honey and almond milk.
  • Blend at high speed until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
  • Serve in chilled glasses and enjoy!
Banana, Cocoa and Maca Ice Cream

Ingedients

  • 2 frozen ripe bananas
  • ½ tablespoon of maca powder (5 g)
  • ⅓ cup almond milk (83 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (5 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (30 g)

Preparation

  1. Take the bananas out of the freezer about 10 or 15 minutes before preparing the ice cream. The objective of this step is for the bananas to soften a little, but not to lose the cold of the freezer.
  2. After the indicated time, add all the ingredients to a blender. Leave the last one to add the cocoa powder and add it little by little.
  3. According to the person's taste, more or less cocoa can be added.
  4. Mix very well until a homogeneous mass is formed. Serve and enjoy.
Cookies with Quinoa

Ingedients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa, cooled
  • 1 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, and egg with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Combine the flour mixture with the creamed mixture. Add the oats, quinoa and chocolate chips (the mixture will be thick).
  • On an ungreased cookie sheet or tray, drop the dough in rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly, remove from pan and place on a cooling rack.
